Hi! My name is Mitchelle Dansie. Nice to meet you! I wanted to make a post to introduce myself! A couple questions I get asked frequently are "How did you get in to sewing?" and "How did you come up with the name of your shop?"
To answer the first question, I started sewing at a very young age. My granny taught me simple sewing techniques when I was around 5 or 6, and combined with my love for plushies, I was unstoppable! I would make plushies from anything I could find (that i didn't think would be missed or noticed missing haha.) Some of my first plushie materials were stuffing from couch cushions, pant legs, and cloth text book covers! I also learned from a young age that I don't enjoy reading patterns, so I naturally began making my own! Over time, and with lots of practice, I have been able to create patterns and plushies that I am very proud of! I love what I do, and I love sharing what I make with others.
To answer the second question, "how did you come up with the name of your shop?" It came to me in a dream! haha Just Kidding. Mooshie was one of my nicknames as a kid, and out of all my nicknames, it sounded the softest and cutest to me, so I decided to use it! The little in front just sounded cute, and it makes me feel like my creations have a little part of me in them.
